Adolphe Adam's famous Christmas song is now available for Brass Quintet. This simple but beautiful melody features Trumpet 1. Parts a for Bb trumpets. Length of about 3 minutes and being in the key of C major and range is moderate. A very nice addition to your annual Christmas Concert.
Originally for two violins and orchestra, this work has been transcribed for two tenor trombones and piano by Gordon Cherry, principal trombonist of the Vancouver Symphony. One of Bach's greatest compositions is now available for advanced trombonist(s) who can read tenor clef. ?The work has been transposed down one full step from the original key of D minor to C minor. High "C" is the highest note requiring two advanced players. This transcription sounds amazing and is a fantastic showpiece for two trombonists & piano. It even sounds great with just the two trombone parts without piano.

Although playable by a quartet, the Fugues may be performed by a larger ensemble with the included optional divisi. Playable by moderately advanced players, this should be a major part of any Trombone ensemble program. Volumes 2, 3 and 4 are in preparation.

A wonderful 8 part (6 tenors and 2 basses) Fugue in 12/8 (it swings along nicely), beautifully transcribed by Ralph Sauer, Prinicipal Trombonist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. This work requires moderately advanced performers and is relatively easy on the "chops". Range is from high C in the 1st part down to a low C in the bass part.

Bach's Unaccompanied Suites beautifully and meticulously edited for Trumpet by Ralph Sauer as a 48 page textbook. Mr. Sauer's thoughtful version of the Six Suites gives the performer "room to breathe" musically.
