Simon Proctor’s concerto is perhaps unique, requiring the
orchestral (tutti) tuba and the solo tuba to play the
cadenza as a duet. This work is very accessible
technically, is fun to play, and traditional in tonality
(audience friendly). Commissioned by Sue Bradley and
advised by Harvey Phillips.
